News from Drupalcamp Ghent
Drupalcamp Ghent needs volunteers for, among others, manning the registration desk and the t-shirt sale booth and being very helpful in general.
Help making this Drupalcamp a succes by becoming a volunteer!

Can someone, who is initiated in the Ghent nightlife, recommend a location for an aftercamp drink on Friday evening, at 19:00-ish.
It should be a bar that can hold about 50 (?) people and sells beer.
Omdat sommige onder ons wellicht graag hun laptop meebrengen om nota' s te nemen of eventueel code samples te sharen lijkt een internetverbinding wel handig. Zal er één voorhanden zijn?
Here are some suggestions for the speakers to make their talk a great talk!
Is there any codesprint planned during drupalcamp Ghent? Drupal.be was talking about an open atrium codesprint?
grtz

Will there be enough power outlets in the workshop rooms or will we be expected to run on batteries?
I'm asking since my battery is so dead it can barely manage to go to hibernate in time after cutting the power :)
Thanks to our presenters, the schedule for Drupalcamp Ghent is packed with a diverse range of interesting presentations.
Start: 09:30
On Friday we'll have 4 coders present tracks: sessions where speakers talk about topics and functionality that is important for Drupal. Most of these talks should however still be interesting also for less advanced users.
Start: 09:30
Drupalcamp Gent is shaping up to be a great event: with 150 people registered and another 80 in the waiting list, we're now closing the registrations.
We are also closing the session submission form, we've got a great variety of proposals that we'll now evaluate with the organizers and we'll be finalizing the program by the end of the week.
While enjoying the perfectly organized Drupalcamp in Stockholm, and at the same time trying not to kill too many kittens, the number of registrations dropped below zero.
We've actively choosen not to close down the registrations yet for 2 reasons.
1. Since it's a free drupalcamp, we expect some 10% of people not too show up
2. We are trying to find out whether we can get our hands on a bigger room.
By the end of the week (tomorrow?) we'll post an update on that discussion.
Please write the session description in English when you submit your session. Also for the sessions that will be in Dutch.
We promised to have almost all sessions in English. We *will* have visitors that are not fluent in Dutch.
Show respect and give everybody the chance to understand what the sessions are about.
