Just for the anecdote, until last year was the Gainsbar in Ghent which didn't serve any beer. But The illustrious was also maintaining the paradox...

It has a sucky name but its a nice bar to drink, dance and upstairs sit in a couch and talk. Its located between the above mentioned Overpoort and Vooruit.
I'm from Ghent and fyi: Overpoort is good during weekdays when you are a student. Vooruit is huge and is going to be very crowded. So less easy to find other Drupal Camp People... Although its never difficult to spot a group of techies :)

Also, there is a weekly couchsurfing meeting in Bar Fabiola so if you want you will even find a couch to sleep if you really didn't find any place to stay the night.
