I delivered a couple of Drupal websites but am a relative newbie (fine with CCK/views,theme customisation and php hacking, but no own module development yet).
If anyone is interested, I can tell my story on how I mounted the Drupal learning curve and where I think Drupal could be improved to be more beginner-friendly.
