.
Full title: "Translate the interface of Drupal & contribute translations with localization client and localize.drupal.org"

Demonstration of the module Localization Client (l10n_client) that lets you easily translate the interface of your Drupal website. It allows you also to share your translations with the community by connecting with the central Drupal translation server localize.drupal.org. The demo will be done with Drupal 6.

December 1, 2009 is the deadline for changing interface text in Drupal 7. From that moment on (most probably) everyone can start translating Drupal and sharing his translations on localize.drupal.org. As a result of the attempts to improve Drupal's user interface we can expect that there is a lot of translating work to be done.

This session is part of the Drupalcamp Translation Trilogy together with Erik Stielstra's "Translating Drupal 7"and
"Discussion about translating Drupal". It is an addition to Olivier Jacquet's session about Internationalisation.
